After reviewing and studying many memory
techniques I came to the conclusion that
the majority, if not all, were peg lists
(linking one object to a list of other objects
"called pegs" and than recalling
from the peg list). This is a fun exercise
and does work the memory but in the long
run you end up not using this technique.
Silva (registered trademark) technique is
a more specific method of memory improvement
through visualization. Also a fun technique
to use but difficult to attain if not taught
by a professional.
At Hypnocontrol we use a method called the
Hypnomemory Visualization Technique, using
right and left brain
By using the right and left brain we are
increasing concentration, decreasing the
stress with recall (much easier to recall
if you are clam) and increasing the original
moment of acknowledgement at the time of
the act (if you did not remember what you
did or learned you will have a lot of difficulty
recalling it).
Instead of exchanging what you want to remember
for a peg list, we at Hypnocontrol let you
visualize you memories.
The tape series consists of two tapes, four
sides, which are four sessions. Tape one
side A helps you understand hypnosis and
also helps you attain the first hypnotic
state and increase your concentration to
learn what you want to remember easier. Side
B of tape one is specific to induce visualization.
This is done through a method where you see
what you want to remember in a reflection
from a river. Side A of tape two is specific
to your needs (work, studies, general, etc.)
Side B of tape two is a relaxation tape.
